How to talk to girls- Is it better to text or call a woman?
There’s always a big debate over whether to text or call a woman after you get her number.
I usually advise guys to text first, and there are several reasons.
I ran across a cool video that explains a bunch of them, and I thought it might be a little more interesting to watch it than to read it, so take a look at at it here:
She talks about something that I totally agree with: that a text is much less intimidating for a girl to respond to than a phone call.
When you see someone calling, sometimes your heart drops and you decline the call just because you don’t feel like talking at that moment. Or you don’t know what to say. Or maybe it’s because the person blabs forever and it’s impossible to get off the phone with them. Or maybe it’s because you just don’t like talking on the phone. Whatever it is, you have to admit that it can be a little stressful to take phone calls sometimes.
When deciding to text or call a woman, think about it from the girl’s perspective. She doesn’t know you very well, isn’t sure that she likes you, and has no idea what you’re going to ask her on the call.
Is it going to be awkward? Are you a weirdo? Will it be easy to get off the phone with you? Are you going to pressure her into a date?
These are all things that might make her avoid your call.
And that’s where a text comes in handy. It’s innocent, easy to respond to, gets your point across right away and doesn’t scare her.

I like what she says at the end of the video about giving her a call if you want to talk about something that requires a lot of detailed information. But once you’ve gotten that far you should have already attracted to her with your previous messages and have built some sexual tension. At that point, she’s going to answer your call.
